We are excited about what the Lord is doing! We are seeing miraculous things happen. People are coming to Jesus Christ and allowing Him to cleanse their lives with His precious blood and giving Him lordship of their lives! Folks are receiving healing; spiritually, emotionally and physically, being filled with the Holy Spirit. We give thanks to God!
The key to a ministry being successful in God is all found in one word: PRAYER! The Lord is opening many doors for ministry here, but none of it would be useful or even possible, if prayer is neglected.
We intercede and pray for the needs of, not just the church, but our town, community, our county, but it doesn't stop there! This thing is bigger than us. This is a God thing! We continue to pray for our state, our country and needs around the world! It's all about Christ and the advancement of His Kingdom!
We also have a prayer chain established for the purpose of giving immediate prayer to situations that may arise at any given moment. Prayer is a daily thing here, as the Word of God teaches, "Pray without ceasing." (1 Thess. 5:17)
We are praying for the Lord to raise up and send in laborers to get involved with the work of God going on right here in Lamar, S.C. If you are already a member here, but are not actively involved I encourage you to enquire of the Lord as to what He would have you to do, and do it for His glory!
There are many opportunities to serve here at C.T.L. Regardless of the gifts and talents with which the Lord has blessed you, we have the right place for you to step in and get involved. Whether it's ushering, helping with the youth and children's ministries, men's or women's ministries, music or one of many ministries, there is a place where you are needed and can be a blessing and in turn, be blessed.
If you are not a member and you are not active in a local church anywhere, we invite you to come and see if the Lord would speak to your heart and have you to get involved with the ministries of C.T.L. We encourage you to make C.T.L. your home if you have no church home. God's spirit is kindling and rekindling the fire of revival among His people! We would love for you to be a part of that here at C.T.L. where "IT'S ALL ABOUT CHRIST!"
If you attend elsewhere, we are always happy to have you visit with us and hope you continue serving God in your church.
